Choosing by what you actually want

If you want bass and nothing else changes, buy a loaded Kicker enclosure and a matched amplifier. This is the highest satisfaction per pound in the whole range.

If you want a complete system upgrade, use Kicker for the low end and choose the front stage on its own merits, which is a more sensible plan than one badge throughout.

If you are replacing blown factory speakers on a budget, CS coaxials do the job and will run from the head unit.

If you are building a front stage properly, KS or QS components with an amplifier and a high pass filter around 80 Hz.

What the ratings mean here

Kicker quotes both peak and RMS figures, and only the RMS number should influence your amplifier choice. Peak describes a brief transient that nothing sustains.

Deaden the doors. Panel resonance limits every system, and deadening material improves the speakers you already own for less than a set of new ones.
